RETURNS & WARRANTY POLICY

Applicable to all purchases of aluminium security gates, window barriers, and any bespoke custom-built systems fabricated or installed by Alguard.

We are committed to ensuring the quality and functionality of our products. Please read the below policy regarding returns, exchanges, and warranties.

1. General Returns

All returns must be requested within 7 days of delivery or installation.

Items must be unused, in original condition, and not installed or altered in any way.

Custom-made or made-to-measure items cannot be returned unless defective.

2. Eligibility for Returns

Returns will only be accepted if:

The incorrect product was delivered.

There is a visible manufacturing defect upon delivery or prior to installation.

The product has not been used, installed, or modified in any way.

Note: Due to the made-to-measure nature of many of our products, a 20% handling fee may apply to eligible returns that are not due to defect or error on our side.

3. Non-Returnable Items

Custom-manufactured or custom-sized items.

Installed, modified, or tampered products.

Products showing damage from incorrect storage, handling, or installation.

Accessories or parts sold individually unless they are defective.

4. Warranty

We offer a 12-month warranty on all aluminium products against manufacturing defects, provided:

The product was installed by an approved installer or in accordance with our installation guidelines.

Proof of purchase and installation is provided.

The warranty does not cover:

Normal wear and tear.

Damage caused by misuse, accidents, or natural disasters (e.g., wind, water, fire).

Discolouration, corrosion due to chemicals, or environmental exposure in coastal/high-humidity areas (unless specified in product warranty).

5. Claim Process

All warranty claims must be submitted in writing via email or our online claim form.

Supporting documents such as photos, proof of purchase, and a description of the issue must be included.

We will assess your claim within 10–14 working days and provide feedback or a resolution.

6. Resolution Options

If a claim is approved, we will:

Repair the product,

Replace the product (subject to availability), or

Issue a credit or refund (only if replacement is not feasible).

7. Installation Responsibility

It is strongly recommended that our products are fitted by qualified installation professionals. DIY or unapproved installations may void the warranty.

Installation faults or damage are not covered under this returns or warranty policy.
